Grout color white subway tile

I know this topic has been discussed (probably ad nauseam) but maybe my situation is a little more unique. Most of the photos I see with a subway tile back splash, the kitchen has some sort of color to break up the monotony of, white. We have white uppers and lowers, a 4x8 white subway tile backsplah, white farmhouse sink, white sink in island, and white countertops (venice calacatta with dark thin veins). Island is a dark gray. I'm wondering if we should do a dark gray to get rid of over powering white, or white to not detract from the countertops, which I love being the focal point (along with all my wolf appliances, and fridgidaire column fridge and freezer, which are still on order)
