When we moved into our present house we painted the kitchen cabinets gray and the walls a lighter gray with some turquoise accents. Boring, but I couldn't tackle it until the rest of the house was to my liking. A couple years later I tackled the kitchen. I only have one window and it looks out into the sun room so there is not a lot of natural light from the afternoon on. I don't have an eat in kitchen. I removed the area to add more cabinets and an island. I painted three walls white and painted the pantry door and the 4th wall turquoise. It is a much happier kitchen now. Maybe you might want to paint the kitchen white and the kitchen table area walls a turquoise. Maybe bring in some more turquoise accents into the kitchen area since it looks like you like turquoise.

I have gray cabinets and turquoise walls too. Color of the walls is S W Blue Iris. I love it.

Instead of entire kitchen painted turquoise, perhaps just do the wall in the dining room off kitchen, or perhaps there is another wall in kitchen that would be better. Then add some turquoise in kitchen with a runner (even a vinyl runner) and accessories.

The art work that we can see in your photos is all word art,,,consider changing to real art...watercolors, prints, art from local artists...all these will bring in more color which is your goal.
