I think you have quite a lot going on in the space so s much as you are tired of gray and white I would try to match the gray from one of the tiles and then just add some color with towels and accessories

When the tiles and vanity are installed, look at whites that have a creamy beige-y sand-y feel. One may work. I agree that gray is getting extremely overdone. Maybe another pro will have a different idea but I would lean towards whites.

Benjamin Moore Sail Cloth OC-142. It's my go-to canvas-colored off-white.

Will look great with your selections.

It looks like there is a tan/brownish color tile and some that are a little lighter than that in the small hexagon tiles that I am assuming are in the shower floor. Maybe painting the walls a color similar to one of those tiles will add a little more color.

Also look at Swiss Coffee. It’s a white that has undertones which will complement your tiles.

Get some vibrant yellow gold accessories - your towels and art.

Thanks for all the suggestions. I threw myself a curve ball and changed up the shower floor and floor tiles after the Cloe White shower wall went in. Going with a simple white 2" hex on shower floor as other seemed too busy & detracted from the Cloe. Floor tile will now be Iceberg Blend Star Geo that has both grey and beige to better tie in the wood vanity. The grey in the tile is a little more prominent than the photo.And @Little Bug..yes! swapping vanity hardware to gold bars and using gold framed mirror & sconces. So now looking at Sail Cloth, Swiss Coffee, & SW Alabaster as paint options. Seems like so much agonizing over a 6x8 bathroom! but hoping it all comes together.

I love your choices so far. Don't forget to take in a sample of both tiles when looking for your paint options. Let us know what you choose.

It may just be their photos and my monitor, but the shower tile seems to have pink undertones. To me, that clashes with the yellow of your original floor tile, so I like the new one better. Just watch the undertones and iridescence of the shower tiles. If it leans toward pink, you can still make sure the undertones of the floor tile do also.

@Nancy in Mich you're right..when I looked at the pic I posted, they do look pink! that was a stock photo, not from my space. The Cloe White really has no pink...it's variegated shades of white with lots of grey undertones. Thanks :)

@peg_albeit Thanks! The original shower floor tile is https://www.flooranddecor.com/marble-stone/coastal-ivory-blend-1-in.-honed-marble-mosaic-100840149.html. I really loved it but felt it was too busy in my tiny space so switched to a plain white 2” hex (kind of regretting it).

I have another issue in this crazy little space that maybe someone can help with! I have zero storage other than the 36” vanity & 30”x22”medicine cabinet. The toilet & vanity are on the same wall perpendicular to the shower, so there’s a blank wall opposite. My contractor is suggesting a built in cabinet or shelf, with a towel bar underneath, but the available opening is only 28”Hx20”Wx7”D. I’m thinking that it won’t be all that functional & might just look weird & towel bar would be wider. Do I just skip it & maybe do double towel bars & artwork on that wall? The shower door opens on to that wall on one side & bathroom door opens to it on the other side! I also saw a blog with a beautiful bath where they used simple picture frame type moulding to add a feature to the walls; my vanity has similar framing, but not sure that idea goes with the rest of the room.

Can your contractor make shelves in between the studs so it’s flush with the wall? Maybe those can be high enough to add towel bar(s) underneath.
And yes, Marilyn did a great rendering! The choices you’ve made in Round 2 are gorgeous. It will look classic.

@RedRyder yes, I have an opening of 28"Hx20"Wx7"D between the studs to work with. I actually found a pre-built cabinet with glass doors that will fit in the space. Maybe add some additional trim around it to give it more "presence" and width & hang a 24" towel bar below? Leave it white or paint it the same as wall color to look like a true built-in & add the same gold pulls? Thanks so much for your help & ideas!

If you are willing to have a shallow cabinet in that space, you can take advantage of the 7” depth inside the wall in addition to the cabinet depth. WD Wood Products will manufacture you a cabinet as wide and deep as you like with whatever door you like. They will send the molding to cover the wall cut-out is. So 7” will be recessed in the wall, and you could have any depth you like outside the wall up to a total of 11” deep for the entire cabinet. Here is the web page that shows their options:

I love the selections yo have made for your new bathroom. It will be beautiful. We have remodeled 2 bathrooms and a kitchen and it can be stressful. BTW, we used BM Wind's Breath in most of our home. It's a great warm neutral.

pmslaw1...Wind's Breath is neutral, but rather chameleon like. It changes with time of day and with what direction the natural light is coming from. I love it.

Got the online cabinet to fill the space between studs. A bit of a pain to assemble, but it fits almost perfectly (will be flush with wall when finalized). I think I'll have contractor move it upwards & add sheetrock below to fill in the 4" gap. Now, do I leave it white or paint it the same as wall color to make it look like a real built-in?

@patrcia48 Exactly!!! I couldn't believe how it changed with the lighting and the different finishes I put up against it. It's perfect in my space, since the Cloe tile is also rather chameleon-like and it was tricky finding a color that could go beige or grey with all the shades i have going on.

That's why I like it in my kitchen. My upper cabs are White Dove -BM and the lowers are BM Indian River. The floors are a very light beige travertine ( which I hate) but it works well with gray and beige.

I would paint the new recessed cabinet the color of the walls if you’re not putting a false “door-painting over it. @Kitch4me - fabulous idea!

Your new selection of materials seem great. Can't wait to see the finished project. And, I agree, making use of the inner wall space is a must in a small bathroom.

The recessed cabinet looks great. As for painting it, I think matching it with the wall color would be best because the room is very small. Unless you can match the stain/color on the vanity. Keep us updated with your choices.

I would not leave the cabinet just hanging out In its wall hole that way. Get some molding to cover the space between the cabinet and the sides of the hole. You will need to scribe the molding to the places where the cabinet trim sticks out more. Or, since you are painting the cabinet to match the wall, simply have the protruding trim sawed off flat. It looks like a cabinet stuck into a hole unless you add trim for the built-in look.

Nancy in Mich ....haha! it IS a cabinet stuck in a hole! that photo was just showing that the cabinet I assembled fit the space. It is now flush with the wall & my contractor has moved it up and filled in the gap below :) I'm also going to experiment with a piece of prefinished moulding I've ordered to fit around it to finish it off. Might be a little tricky around the top piece, but we'll see

@patrcia48 what color have you used for trim when using Wind's Breath? Thought the trim color would be easier, but noooooo! Looking at Chantilly Lace...

I used White Dove. My daughter used Chantilly Lace for her trim. Honestly---I have a hard time with whites!

@patrcia48 wow...dilemma (again). White Dove seems to work better with Wind's Breath and my finishes and lighting. I'd seen & heard that used a lot, but somehow got on the Chantilly Lace track. Thanks for your comment; I'm going with White Dove :)
