sorry another question '' well a few more questions''
Comments (12)georgez5il, I can sympathise to a very limited extent with the way that you feel about this particular posting, but cannot agree with your conclusions regarding being unable to answer the query in its totality. I feel that some information is better than non, and that other posters' are subsequently given chance to pick up the slack so-to-speak. I am also in favour of group involvement and this post gives an excellent opportunity for precisely that. Apologies for sounding a bit "preachy" on this one. ;-)...See MoreAnother newbie, another question
Comments (5)Zone 4a and this will be my fifth year doing this. I start around new years, typically with hardy perennials in my zone, shurbs/trees and seeds that i don't really care about (e.g. old seeds). I typically wait until late February to start putting out a lot of my annuals, and I leave the following til the end of march or early april: zinnias sunflowers ornamental millet abutilon dolichos lablab morning glories 4 o'clocks cosmos and pretty much anyhting tropical in origin Most of these will sprout if sown earlier, but their foliage is sufficiently tender that I lose them in the cold nights we have earlier in the winter/spring. If I wait til then, they typically don't pop til mid april or later and i typically don't have to worry about the seedlings freezing then....See Morea few questions - including another tub with shower question
Comments (2)Only can answer a few of your questions: I've always had curtains with tub/shower combos. The trick is to seal the curtain edges to the tile/tub. This is best done with a thinner liner (a heavy one can be used, but might want to put a shampoo bottle on it to keep it there). Start the shower and point the head away from the open edges. Get in and by this time the tile will be a little moist. Run your wet hand along the back of the liner and stick it to the tile, tracing it down and over the inside corner of the tub. Never a water problem in 20 years. Had to train my DH how to do it when I married him though. We've had pocket doors with latches on the inside only. You can find the hardware at any home depot or lowes in the replacement door and window hardware areas for closets, patio sliders, casement windows, etc and install them yourself....See MoreShingrix Side Effects vs COVID Symptoms
Comments (38)Repeating... "Should I defer Shingrix vaccination because such a reaction might be confused with COVID-19? NO. If you have an opportunity to vaccinate a patient age 50 years or older who is due for dose 1 or dose 2 of Shingrix, proceed with vaccination as usual. It is important to counsel the patient about the risk of self-limited side effects, including local reactions, such as redness, pain, or swelling at the injection site, and systemic reactions, which include fever, chills, headache, and body aches. If they occur, such side effects normally resolve within 72 hours after vaccination. Because of concerns about COVID-19, if a vaccine recipient develops fever after vaccination, they should stay home until it resolves. Shingrix vaccination does NOT cause respiratory symptoms common in COVID-19, such as cough or shortness of breath. If the vaccine recipient develops new symptoms of cough or shortness of breath, or if fever does not resolve within 72 hours of vaccination, the recipient should contact their healthcare provider."...See Moreheather483
