Pumpkin Newbie - Advice needed for yellow leaves, patchy, pests

I currently have an unplanned pumpkin patch growing out of the remains of last year’s Halloween pumpkin. I have no previous experience and am a little out of my depth lol!

It’s been growing well, but the center has begun to look patchy and some of the leaves yellow. I read this could be due to deficiencies in the soil. I bought Jacks 20-20-20 fertilizer which told me to use 1 scoop per gallon, but no directions as to how many gallons I should fertilize with. I started with 2 scoops in a 2 gallon watering bucket in addition to it’s regular watering. Not sure if this was enough and how soon it should be repeated.

Additionally I think I have been having some trouble with squash bugs and other pests. I made a homemade neem oil spray - 1/4 teaspoon of soap, 1 tsp of neem oil, 1 quart of water in a spray bottle! I sprayed it with care to try to get under a lot of the leaves, stems, etc.

I’ve attached some photos, any advice or responses would be greatly appreciated!
