Sorry but that kitchen would give me nightmares in a big hurry. Way too over the top with too may different stones . IMO an outdoor kitchen needs to follow the same ideas as an indoor one and venting for the grill in an enclosed space is a must . What is the purpose of the cabinet that you need to be on your knees to access.and also the acces for under the sink. Looks more like a stone yard ad than a really good designed outdoor kitchen

Well... in fact this is exactly what this particular client wanted. It's always our goal to create something that generate "happy vibes" for the homeowner and not just our design team. I get it that this puts your brain into spooky town in a hot minute! We completely appreciate that everyone has their own esthetic. If you look through our entire portfolio you can see that each client's taste is our goal. They are the one's paying for it, so we believe they get to choose what floats their boat!

I'm happy with my Weber Summit Silver bought about 6 years ago. This model has 4 burners arranged left-to-right, by the way. Performance is good - my only gripe is that the separate side burner to the right of the grill isn't very adjustable (though I rarely need it for anything). While I could probably get choosey and find a more perfect grill, I would first look at Weber's higher-end because I'm thrilled with Weber's customer support. While performing way-overdue maintenance, I called them to order some replacement parts for items that had understandably worn out or corroded over time... They sent me replacements at no charge. No questions about warranty periods or anything like that. I called them intending to purchase parts, but it seemed they volunteered to replace them on the assumption that Weber products are designed to last forever. So I'm a loyal customer of Weber's. We live not far from the pacific ocean, the grill is outside, uncovered and facing the sea, and we use it 2-3 times a week year-round. No complaints.

For most people, spices they can purchase at the grocery store are often good enough. Then they often sit in the cupboard for years and years and soon impart not much more than a dusty taste and slight flavor to the food they are meant to season. I don't know any of you personally, not your cooking or shopping habits so please don't take anything personally. I personally would rather buy small quantities, 1/2 to 1 ounce at a time and replenish often. I have found bulk fresh spices at ethnic markets and ethnic grocery stores. They are often cheap enough that I take out what I can use and give the rest to friends. I am also lucky in that I take a class across the road from a local Spice House and so have frequent access to their selection and I have to honestly say that whether or not you are skeptic, once you've cooked and baked with their, or Penzy's spices, there is truly no going back. No matter how viral you think this is, it's because it's true LOL Any skeptics want to send me a shopping list. I'll be happy to send out some samples. Oh, and BTW, if you buy something from either vendor and are not happy with it they will replace it free of charge.

We smoke 2-3 times per week. In fact, we are smoking ham and corn on the cob today, by request of our son who is visiting. The Smoke Vault we got in December is huge (24"W x 16"D with four racks) compared to the worn out smoker we used previously. Mesquite is probably our least favorite wood to smoke with; alder, wild cherry, apple, pecan, hickory, etc. are favored. To smoke corn, just tie cooking string around the cob end to hold the husks in place and soak in cold water until ready to smoke. After it has been cooked, and cooled enough to handle, just remove the husks and silk. The silk is much, much easier to remove after cooking--saves a lot of time! --------------------------------------- I am a bit between learning new skills or adopting a fresh hobby/area of interest right now. Will have to wait until something strikes my fancy. We downloaded Windows 10 this week. Learning how to tweak it should keep me busy for a little while. Please let this one be the last; I was happy with the Windows 7 and would rather not have had to switch. But I learned from XP that there is no sense putting off this one because, too soon, nothing will work properly without support. It was pleasantly surprising how little difference there was using the computer after Windows 10 was installed, especially after reading some of the thread posts I saw in KT not long ago.

I’m also in the PNW so can relate to the rain issues. I bought Cane-line (Danish company) furniture over 11 years ago and it still looks brand new. It’s a woven resin type that stays outside all year round. I do bring the cushions in over the winter and they are on a covered deck spring through fall. It wasn’t the cheapest furniture, I think about $2500 Cdn for a loveseat, two chairs and a coffee table, but averaged over 11 years (so far) I think it’s been worth every penny.

The kitchen isn't my type, but anyway, it looks cozy and spacious. In Mexico, the country where I grew up, many outdoor kitchens have the same design as in the picture. The abundance of yellow and brown color palettes offers warmth sensations of my childhood. I still remember how my dad was teaching me to cook alfredo sauce in a similar but smaller kitchen. It was the happiest time in my life that I will never forget.
