Closet door dilemma

Lilly Elyse

I recently bought a home and built a closet in a pre-exisiting "nook" in a wall. I am now having a closet door dilemma. The closet height opening is 97" (just over 8' tall); 100" with the closet molding. The closet width is 41.5"; 48.5" (with the molding). It has been framed for a barn door. I am not sure I can get matching doors to the rest of the home. Would you ...

1- place one large barn door that won't allow the door to open the whole way (9" of door would over lap the closet opening)

2-bypass barn door

3-try to get two doors that can just pull and open but might not look the same. In addition the closet would have to be reframed.

4- any other suggestions are appreciated.

This closet has been a whopping 9 months and full of difficulties.
