What is this in the water?

Brenda Handy

Can anyone tell me what these teeny tiny worm-like/larva-like things are in the water after I bottom water my plants. The picture shows them in the water of the silver bowl. They do not appear to have a black head as fungus knats would have. I did have an outbreak of fungus gnats late last year and into early this year but I thought I had eradicated them. Could these be fungus Knats larvae without a black head?? Or could they be potworms? When I use a bug identifier app it gives me a moth as the result. One person thought they might be baby millipedes. Can someone please ease my frustration by definitively telling me what these little critters are, and how I can get rid of them? I am very close to tossing my potted house plants out! Huge thanks in advance for any help you can provide me with! Discouraged in Ontario!
