Buy a new tub. Don't resurface it.

I agree with qdog, the size of home I'm referring to has a large master suite, in a smaller bathroom you'd have to certainly make a decision as to what you could fit into a small bath, but in my size and price range it's possible to have it all and that's what buyers in my area want, whether a soaker tub or jacuzzi is personal preference, but definitely large tub and seperate large shower are the norm in my area and price range. Disney, this is my third home I've purchased with separate large tub (2 were jacuzzi's, one a soaker) and I'm not in a starter home. It just happens to fit my lifestyle, I'm a bath kinda girl.

If the circuit serves no other places other than this bathroom it can be reasonably all on one 20A circuit. The towel racks are less than an amp, and the floor heat is 12W /sqft usually so unless your bathroom is huge sharing the circuit isn't usually a problem. As anybody with teenage girls can tell you, the killer are monster blow dryers. Two 20A circuits should be plenty.

Debating whether or not to remove the wall between the vanity and the toilet/tub area. I have already removed the tile, tub, and toilet. Removing vanity and rest of flooring soon. Really want to remove the framing/wall of the 2nd door to open up an already small narrow bathroom. Any thoughts on this? Is that wall structurally needed?
