looking for a light sage or light blue paint color for bathroom vanity

Putting custom cabinets in bathroom and can paint any color we please. I am looking for a neutral colored light Sage or light blue. My floor tiles are white and shower tiles a white & gray marble look.

Without photos of your tiles, it is a hit or miss, but I see neither sage or blue.

How about B.M. Cumulus Cloud?

We used BM 1576, Ice Cap, which picked up on green shades in a room with green carpet but also looks blue in a room with pale blue carpet.

We had the issue that a lot of the grays we tested in our BR were looking very lavender. Ended up going with silver chain (BM 1472) at 50% form. If you like one of the colors you have tested above, you could try it at 50% perhaps.

I had my wiring for outlets, sconces, over head fan and ceiling fixtures all done before mirror, fixtures, vanity and cabinetry were added. I have a small oval tilting mirror that is only 24 wide over my vanity it was dirt cheap from lowes and they had rectangles too. Under 100 dollars. Your contractor should be able to drill with a new and properly sized drill bit to tile without issue and if it cracks the tile can be easily replaces. I know cause glass door guys broke a tile on their last hinge using a dull unchanged bit and my tiler fixed it is less than an hour. I can not attest to its quality but I love my cheap I mirrors function. Maybe this houzz quote suggests a gray not too cool, or too warm: "select a trim color - if painting walls a cool color (greens, blues, purples or grays), find a white that reads cooler. Put swatches of white paints next to one another and see how they compare; some will appear more warm or beige-like, and others very light gray with hints of green, blue or purple."

I painted our old, dark wood vanity with left-over Swiss Coffee over the weekend and after 1 coat I'm not happy with it at all. Too much white against the tiles and floor. This is a rental, so I have to make the existing elements work, but I'm stuck on what color I should repaint it. The counter is a sage green granite, green and orange backsplash tiles, I think the walls are Swiss Coffee and 60's white tiles with an orange border around the rest of the bathroom. Cabinet hardware will be oil rubbed bronze like the mirror, and new chrome faucet on the way. Should I go with a neutral beige, a yellower cream, or a light green/grey? I got samples of Valspar's Bay Sands and Canvas Tan yesterday, but think BS is too dark and CT too pink. Any recommendations are welcome, thank you!

Is it obligatory to mention Sea Salt? ;)

Depends a lot on what you mean by your color names -- "sage" can vary from a pale apple-ish green to a very gray green. Similarly, light blues are all over the spectrum. I think you're going to need to go to a paint shop and bring home a bunch of chips, and narrow the field a bit by what goes with the color tones of your stone and tile. Then get samples of the finalists and paint them onto poster board and see which you love.

We used SW Silverpoint on our bedroom walls. It's a very light greige with a sage green hint to it. I like it because it's not minty. It's quite subtle.

Of course the way you see colors really depend on your lighting, so be sure to have your lights installed and do some sample boards so that you can see what your samples look like in your actual space.
