Garden kitty Spot. Sorry the picture is blurred-we are riding/moving in my garden golf cart which she loves to ride in! She is usually snuggled beside me but decided to be a hood ornament today!

How darling the picture with Spot. Hood ornament indeed........You've got a nice batch of daylilies for your late season blow out. My Indian Ripple is just budded up.....I like Pink Jeans. I had it on my long list ages ago. Does it usually bloom as a late season?...... Shores of Time always is one of my favorite pinks. Stamile got it right on that color.......You know I appreciate the early color then the later color on Cradle of Bethlehem pictures. Not quite as dramatic with the fade out..............Maryl

Look at Spot! She looks quite comfortable! Garrett Mason is beautiful and I love Reindeer Antlers. I hate saying goodbye to favorites, but every day there are more of them. I do still find rebloom scapes although rebloom has been going on for a while. I will probably post once or twice more and call it done. Your post shows you still have some pretties, Kate.

Glad to know Spot travels in style in the golf cart. LOL What a beautiful late show you have going on there! I love Shores of Time, and I can't believe this is the first time it's rebloomed for you. It nearly always reblooms here. Ellie's Late Show has lovely colors and is indeed very late. I'm surprised Indian Ripple is just now starting for you. It will be starting here by the end of the week. Special Candy does look very special, as does Kierabel.

Ben Bachman looks great. Reindeer Antlers has a nice rich color even in the afternoon. Forsyth Garret Mason is so lovely. I love the edge color on it with just enough lavender.. Wow, your season continues to show some wonderful blooms. And of course Spot looks very pleased to be the hood.

Maryl, I totally agree about Cradle of Bethlehem! Of course it is facing west so gets the full impact of afternoon sun. This is about the usual blooming time for Pink Jeans in my garden. It lives next door to Bold Symphony and Bold Symphony had its last bloom today.

Kay, like you, I will probably post once or twice more-if something special pops up. They have been spectacular this year but with the heat and humidity it becomes less pleasant to be in the garden.

Debra, Shores of Time and Indian Ripples are both in the same shaded bed. I don’t know if that has anything to do with their bloom habit. Ellies Late Show is apparently well named except I have a hard time getting past the lack of apostrophe in the name!! It is new this year.

Julia, Reindeer Antlers has such a rich color and F. Garrett Mason has bloomed so well this year.

Spot showed up here about two years ago. She has been such a good garden kitty although still retains some feral instincts (despite a vet ”visit”) and may leave for a day or two. She is a great huntress and has brought lots of vole presents to my door. My golf cart is truly outfitted for the garden and the first time she rode in it she came flying across the yard and made a giant leap onto the seat scaring me to death! Since that time any time she hears or sees me backing it out of the garage she sprints for her seat. On that occasion I guess she wanted more wind in her hair!

Laura Harwood and Cradle of Bethlehem in the morning look very similar. For a while, everyone seemed to want Cradle of B; I suppose because of the religious overtones. Just like Mary's Baby, though I am not slighting MB's superior characteristics. Thanks for the ride. A golf cart--you must have a large place.

Yes, Mantis, larger than we need at times!! We have sold all our land except about 40 acres. We rent most of it to a local rancher who grows grass for hay on it. Our house area sits on 5 acres, two of which are pine and hardwood forests. We actually mow about 3 acres with my daylily beds scattered about. The golf cart is used to carry garden tools, water, garden soil, mulch, pots, etc. wherever I need to work. It makes working much easier without making multiple trips back to the house. Spot is always disappointed when we reach our destination!!! :)
