Stainless would probably look fine, but I might consider a matte black sink, which would look amazing! I’m doing a similar look for my new build, matte black faucet but the same quartz and a black sink.

We currently have a matte black drop in that we could use. It’s about 10yrs old, and needs a really good cleaning. I just like the under mount look better and thought I’d consider the free option from our countertop place. Thank you for your input!

Hi! So glad I found your thread! we mostly have the same exact kitchen.... How did the faucet match the GE Appliances in brushed bronze? Are you happy with the Faucet?

Hi Richelle! It’s not a super close match, but it doesn’t bother me. The hardware on the cabinets, on the other hand…matches almost perfectly! Matching all of the gold has been so challenging! I am happy with the faucet!

Thanks! Yes, I am having such a struggle. What hardware did you choose? Also, does the lighting look good? After I bought that lighting, I realized it was more gold than bronze. What did you end up doing for your sink? Can you share a picture of your gorgeous kitchen? Tia

I ended up sending that light back too! Didn’t care for the gold finish. I ended up buying this one from Amazon for over the sink.

The larger light I bought for over the dining room table (photo posted in my original post) is now in my entry way. I needed something that hung a little lower. I just went with this. I lucked out and found it on marketplace.

This kitchen reno is going to be the death of me! I absolutely fell in love with Ge appliances but who knew it was going to be so hard to match. No stores have the color on hand to truly match and everything is either special order and or on back order for MONTHS. I hope the bathroom is giving you an easier experience lol. I will definitely share pics. We start in a month:). Praying my vision becomes a reality.

I was in that exact boat almost a year ago! It’s so nerve wracking! Try to remember that it will all be worth it in the end! The bathroom is a whole other PITA!!! If you have any other questions, or need any recommendations or anything, please let me know…I’m happy to help!

@RedRyder thank you so much! If you could have seen it before! We removed a wall, closed off a hallway entry to build a pantry, and had the island built. So much done in such a small space and the impact is huge! I’ll see if I can post a photo or two of how it was before.

They’re shaker cabinets. We were initially going to have the existing cabs refaced, but decided to replace all of them. Our contractor was also a custom woodworker, so he built each cabinet by hand. They turned out really nice.
