Oh my! I thought that was granite! Maybe it's the same that I saw at that house afterall! Well what ever it is, it's very pretty, I like it alot. Glad the color suggestion might be the one, colors can be very different on the screen, so if it doesn't work out at least you've got a direction to go in. I love your flooring, we have just installed a slate in our bathroom that looks very much like that. Smaller tiles can be very busy looking. Those are 12x12's right? Larger tile can help a room to look more spacious, and from what I can tell, it would look great in the that sized room. You may want to consider using the 12x12's instead. Christopher Nelson Wallcovering and Painting - I plan to buy BM Regal for my master bedroom. Valspar is around $35 per gallon, and at that price I'll just pay $15 more and get my favorite BM paint. Don't laugh, but I was considering Glidden's new paint at walmart - it's called Complete line or something, and it's $25 a gallon for flat and claims to be highly scrubbable. At $25 a gallon it would only cost me $100 to paint my bedroom. BM is going to cost $200. So yes, I was considering a cheaper brand, but as luck would have it (since I hate making decisions) - Glidden can't color match my BM color, so there's no more choosing - I'm going with BM for the bedroom. But when I paint my garage then I may go cheaper. When I painted my basement I used BM and Valspar and both went on fine. I do prefer Regal over any other paint, especially if price isn't a factor.

I just don't know that vinyl is really necessary, my opinion. We did our basement bath in fairly inexpensive composite beadboard (not solid hardwood, but not pressed paneling) and primed and painted it with good quality exterior paint and have had no problems. And we have kind of a weak exhaust fan setup so we have had some moisture nearby. It's looked great for 10 years now. Also, just to your point about whites, my upstairs bath is all white (historical style 'sanitary' look) and it is like 50 shades of white in there :) When I picked paint color, I tried to focus on the lighting and looked at swatches in the same light conditions when I would be in the bathroom most often.

@Jan Moyer Thank you for the information! This bathroom is also gorgeous!! I am happy to report that I have all my final selections made (besides paint). I have lived with my tile samples a few days and I will be going with a 12 x 24 dolomite look porcelain for the bathroom floor and shower walls. The shower floor will be a 1 inch hexagon mosaic that coordinates with the 12 x 24. I also have my sample of the vanity which is listed as "graphite." I am going to do the top of the shower bench, shower curb, and vanity countertop in white quartz which has a slight gray speckle to it if you look really closely. I didn't like the veining of the faux marble quartz and thought it would clash too much with the dolomite look in the shower. I am attaching a photo of the samples for reference. In person the tile looks like it has a taupe or greige vein to it. Do you have any BM suggestions with all of this? I definitely want something on the lighter/white side. I will also have recessed lighting and an LED medicine cabinet with polished chrome faucet and shower fixtures. The sink and toilet are both Kohler white. Thank you again!
