No, it's brown, not a very dark brown.

Here's another angle brightened up. There is a lot of tree cover, so it's hard to get a great shot. We loved the property so much for our mini farm. I just don't know what to do with this house. I know it's a little odd.

Really charming house. I like the exterior colors although maybe they need freshening and maybe a roof line trim would be nice. For myself I would prefer a plain glass door without grilles, and I might go for a new more impressive entry light. Definitely a full-width welcome mat. It’s hard to see what material the ”landing is, but I think something darker would look better (slate?)

I would take away the foundation plants that are so close to the house, put down some stones and gravel in a freestyle, organic bed, do more of japanese look with spare plantings of woodland plants and dwarf trees

For the driveway I would see if I could do concrete and gravel

but I think good old blacktop would also look fine. In the end you probably need a local pro to give you advice about run-off issues (especially if you are planting food nearby) and general soil and weather conditions.

Your house is wonderful. I think it would look great color blocked.

You have many iptiins and color schemes. Do you have any favorite colors or looks you have seen?

There is nothing rustic about that house so not sure what you are meaning. What is your budget and some idea of what you like. IMO more of a 70's modern design than MCM but I think some natural cedar and a dark charcoal color scheme would be great . Then get to work on landscaping and of course it has a driveway it just needs to have some work done to make it an actual driveway.
