Built-In Cabinet/Bookshelf Design Dilemma
Comments (34)Thanks for posting this. We just re-worked our family room orientation and positioning of our patio door and some windows on our house plans. Your photos helped me visualize what we are trying to achieve. We're looking at adding a window on each side of our patio door that will be in our dining area. I like the looks of yours. Do you mind sharing the dimensions of the windows on each side of your door and those on each side of the fireplace? Thanks!...See MoreBuilt-in for TV...not over fireplace, but over shelves.
Comments (4)If the fireplace is centered in the room the TV can be installed on a wall bracket that allows it to be pulled out and turned. Then you can relax until you or someone else comes to remove the mirrors and the wine racks....See MoreFireplace Built-In Dilemma!

I found some pictures showing it can be done and look good. I think it helps if you can somehow tie the mantel into the built-ins. I'm thinking of putting wood facing around the top half of the fireplace and matching it to the built-ins....See MoreLaura Mouse
