Yay/nay to heating lamp in shower room of kids jackji bathroom?
Comments (1)Small room with warm steam from the shower? I would think no heat lamp required. Think of the old hotel rooms with the heat lamps in the bathroom--yes, the room was cool when you went in, but once you got the water going the heat lamp was overkill....See Moreframeless shower- yay/nay?
Comments (7)Yay X 2. I have frameless shower installations in two bathrooms. Sure, both leaked a wee bit at first but after we had the installer back to take a look at them, both were fixed. No more leaking. One bathroom has now been in use for more than 2.5 years and the other just about two years. Both are used every day. No leaking. Just some extra caulk to arrest the problem at the site did the job. But, yes, do the frameless - it looks and works great....See MoreFarmhouse sink in bathroom vanity? Yay or Nay?
Comments (1)Nice tile choices! I prefer the vanity in the center; the grey toned stone top that isn't a farmhouse style. The sconces are pretty, but I agree the shades are a little heavy. I've posted some alternatives below. Good luck! Comments (6)We have one in one of our bathrooms, it was a DIY gut job. Hubby did a pretty good job on the grout job, but it's not perfect. Some of the grout areas got wiped down too low, so water wants to pool in those spots. So, yeah, I have to spray bleach there often or it gets gross quickly. I don't plan on having that kind of floor in any other bathrooms because of that. But the pebbles are cut and smooth... keeping them clean isn't a problem and they feel great on the feet... it's just that you have to be really careful with the grout job part (more careful than we were) and cover up more of the pebble surface than you'd think so you don't get that problem. We did another shower floor with 1" stone squares and I love that one, the grout is small and nice and even, easy to keep clean....See MoreShasta
