How can I straighten their posture. Help!
Comments (12)If it were me, I *think* I'd plant them with the short side of the "L" pointing up. Since you are only talking about 2" of the trunk being horizontal, I think this would become almost unnoticeable in the long run even if they didn't straighten up on their own. If they are just the size of a pencil, you might be able to encourage them to straighten up by tying them up. It's hard to judge well without being there and seeing them. If they don't shape up for you, you could always cut them back and let them resprout in late winter/very early spring later on. It doesn't make Forest Farm look very good to ship out stuff like this and then not pay at least return shipping. It seems they kind of want to stick you with costs even though it's not your fault. You might consider posting a review on Garden Watchdog. Forest Farm has a pretty good record so far, but if they are going to pull this kind of stuff, it wouldn't hurt to let people know about it. Here is a link that might be useful: Garden Watchdog...See MoreHow Do I Program My Sears Craftsman Garage Door Remote 139.53681B
Comments (63)Hi Everyone, I have an old (10/95) craftsman opener that works fine #139.663956 / S.N. 4935A00718 In the past year I have bought 3-4 remotes that I was told would work. But did not ,and since my unit does NOT have a learn button,I am lost as to what to do. The #'s on my remote are in places worn out so I can not see all the model #'s. My wall switch (power) is model 139.53755 . Can anyone offer suggestions? I am disabled and may need someone to help me so if I can explain to them what to do,I may be able to get this new remote programed or find a suitable replacement. I recently purchased a craftsman #139.53778, but with out the learn feature on my unit and not knowing what 9 # code to use ,it to is of no help to me. Any ideas?? Thank you ....See MoreHow do I get gmail to be default mail program on iMac
Comments (4)Huh? No, the question is what email service is the native email program (Apple Mail, in this case on a Mac) set up to connect to. That setting needs to be entered once for every so-called mail "client" app or program on a PC, Smartphone, or tablet. It has nothing to do with default program relationships for file types. Ginny, I know how to do it on ipads and iphones but not immediately on Macs. I have two Macs in the family but neither is here right now for me to look at. A Google search found the following two approaches, they differ perhaps depending on which version of Apple Mail you have. But either or a combination of the two should get you where you want to be. If these don't work, again, refer to an Apple forum. #1 To Set Up Your Apple Mail From the Mail menu, select Preferences. Go to the Accounts tab, and then click the plus sign(+) at the bottom of the Accounts box. In the Add Account window, enter your full name, email address and email password. Click Continue. or #2 To begin, click on the Mail -> Add Account... menu. On this screen, you will be asked about the type of account you will be adding to the application. Select the last option - Add Other Mail Account...Continue button. Now, simply add your name, email address and the password for it. ++++++++++++++++++++ Edited to add As a quick alternative, just start your browser (Safari), go to and log into gmail, compose a new message and then add the photo as an attachment. You'll need to know the location of the photo on the PC to do that and you probably can do a drag and drop for attaching it....See MoreHow do I straighten this Shaina Japanese Maple
Comments (20)A personal preference that may very well spell long term harm for your trees!! A buried root flare is a primary cause of tree failure. It may not be immediate (as a friend says, think in 'tree years', not human years :-)), but it will happen. It is ALWAYS preferable to plant high, never too deeply. If you do not care to see the root flare, just cover it lightly with a coarse mulch....See Morecat_ky
