That does sound good. In Bali where we stay, they make their French toast out of two pieces of bread with jam in the middle. That's good too.

Mistie, Hmmmm... First,I love your furniture. Furniture placement is very important to a room. Especially in a bedroom. It should be a place that you look forward to retiring at the end of the day. It should be relaxing and peaceful. I dont know what dimensions your room is. It looks like a nice sized room. You have a lot of matching furniture with drawers, along with lot's of stuff placed on top of all those furniture pieces giving it a somewhat cluttered appearance. (as most of us do in the real world). My ? is ...(Remember trying to help and saying with kindness) Do you really need all that furniture in your bedroom? If you must have a TV in your bedroom then it should be in or on a cabinet that can also house your VCR separately without stacking it on top of the TV. Try taking out a small dresser or two ,then some of the extra stuff all around your room. Look at your room as a bare space. Now remember the bed is the most important piece along with the night tables. Start with that. I used to have a lot of unneccesary furniture and clutter in our bedroom. I parred down to the bare essentials and now our bedroom is a much more relaxing place to retire at the end of the day. Good luck , Hope this help's.

Slate is not a 'rectified' product. There will be variations in thickness and size in most of these, unless manufacturers are changing this. However, there should be no serious lippage that might create a tripping hazard. Tile dealers and installers may be able to give you more information. Slate is usually in the 'rustic' category, so a less than matching grout width is what I would think is normal. That's all I got!

Are you painting because you want a color change or is the tan finish scratched or worn? Anything painted will, inevitably, need to be repainted. If you do not dislike the tan, repainting it tan will mean it will look less worn the nest time it needs painting because any original paint revealed by any peeling of the new layer of paint will be the same.. Consider choosing the same tn color as the siding of your home or a color you like from within any brick or stone you have in your exterior walls -- or, if your windows are trimmed in white, you could use white.
