Help identifying paint color
Comments (11)Well, darn. Whites are terribly difficult to identify, especially on a computer screen. This is a real leap, but it reminds me of the white my sister used on her house...Benjamin Moore Swiss Coffee. We used it for the trim on a previous home. It's a very nice soft white and looks quite a bit brighter on the exterior vs interior. A couple online examples......See MorePlease help identify paint color

Comments (2)Patricia is right - computers are terrible at accurate color rendition, but if you love the color and want to get close and be able to mimic the color in your space here is a way to do it. I used the Snipping tool and grabbed a picture of just the wall color I uploaded this to https://imagecolorpicker.com/en/ This gives me the RGB and Hex values for the dominant color in the photo. If I were doing this for myself I would grab a couple of the other RGB values that were close The Hex value for the dominant color is #5b6e76. The next two color hex values are #5c6f76 and #5e7484 I then opened up https://www.easyrgb.com/en/match.php If I enter the first Hex value this is what is returned. If I know I want to use only Benjamin Moore Paint I can search for the closest color in their lineup . . . Now you have some tools to help you find a similar color - play with EasyRGB and test a couple of the Hex Codes with the paint brands you are interested in. Many of the colors can be matched, but I like to get swatches before spending money on samples. Your local BM store could probably match DunnEdwards Moody Blue and create a sample for you to buy and test, but they will have the paper samples of Thousant Oceans and Hamilton Blue that you can take home and look at in your space for free. These both look like lighter versions of the right color....See MoreHow to Identify Paint Color That Matches Siding (to Paint Brick)
Comments (0)Hi there! Our house is half siding and half brick. We know we want to paint the brick with Romabio to match the light gray siding. My question is: How do we color match siding? It's not new siding, so we can't take a sample into the paint store. What works best in your experience to get the best paint match?...See MoreCelery. Visualization, Rendering images
