I wonder what it is about #2 that tripped so many of us up. It’s pretty straightforward, similar patterns to what we’re used to, common phrase, but that’s the one that got us.

Lettersatoz, read the 2 words separately, and look at their placement. It's a fairly common expression, usually disappointing.

And now I can't un-see it. So funny. My downfall was, (and stop reading if you don't want a big hint.....) I was only concentrating on the letter, not the word.

100%! I had started with ”head in the covers” but then realized that should be under not in, and then came up with the correct answer.

100% after not liking my answer to 2 and then going with it.

Got them all in spite of my brain trying to tell me different! For some reason when the answer comes to me almost immediately, I think I am wrong and try to make it more complicated.

And I had briefly considered "Give as good as you get" for #5, but stuck with the right answer.
