FNM Friday Night Music; Size/Quantity (How much, how many)
Comments (46)I do like the Murry Kellum version of Long Tall Texan, but I had never heard it or of it before, and I was living in 1963 when it was released. It sounds much more like the Trashmen's version than it does like the Beach Boys' version, which I've never liked at all. I think the Trashmen did a good remake - the Beach Boys did not. Here's a Dion video that I've posted in the past: (Drip Drop) I thought it was Dion & the Belmonts, but this says Del-Satins I'm fine with videos getting posted multiple times!...See MoreFNM Friday Night Music: Halloween/Fright Night III

I always thought "mack" was something you were supposed to do to a knife, similar to stropping. Now I'll never hear that song the same way again! Thanks, I guess👿 Here's a silly song, from the 1950s, I think: Not a great song, but on topic. I think that there are a lot of songs here that don't fit into other themes (so far), and I do like this time of year. Parties in San Francisco would start almost two weeks before Halloween when I lived there in the 1970s-80s, although in the late 1960s, New Year's Eve was the most popular holiday there, and that's when the best concerts used to happen....See MoreLars
