It wasn't specified and I wasn't asked about brands, although I did get a choice of a few window styles. I studied it and the door seems ok, installation looks quite good. Some casings were painted and they contained lead, so they had to be replaced. Here's a collage of the work in progress as of today: 1. After removing the storms some exterior areas are now exposed. Looks like these open edges may need to be wrapped? 2. Sticker confirms Reflections 5500, noticeable 1/4" gap above this center window, slightly damaged corners on this window (see #9) and it's missing the top plastic rail that all the other windows have. Frankencasing on left. All windows are in place but seem loose (wobble when pushed), so I think there is more installation to do. 3. Another window, noticeable gap on top and left, wobbly, not finished. 4. 2-piece center Frankencasing (centers only, others are 1-piece). Also note missing top plastic rail on right vs left. 5. Original center belly casing. 6. Top plastic rail, missing on center window in #2. 7. Replacement apron from molding cut on angle. 8. Original apron, showing craftsmanship. 9. One set of triple windows in context. You can currently see light through the upper gap in center window, not noticeable so much in this photo. Also note damage on right corner (and to a lesser extent left corner) on the center window. Possibly dropped and the plastic railing shattered off. Looks relatively minor, but I think that rail plays a part in filling these gaps? Amazing how much glass you lose with replacement windows, especially so with thick frames like on the Reflections 5500.

Air leakage is overrated. Anything 0.06 or under is outstanding. When the wind blows 25mph per minute a 0.02 AI rating will leak 1.5 soda cans of air. In reality you will not even feel or notice this. So if the wind blows 5-10 mph like it normally does everyday you're going to leak what? A half a can of air? You will not feel or notice air leakage in Windows with numbers this close. It doesn't matter if it's a 0.01 or 0.06 lets be real here. It's like saying triple pane makes a difference in sound reduction. A 0.28 STC and 0.29 STC make no noticeable difference to human ears. If you want to notice a difference you will need laminated glass with a 0.38STC or higher... The difference between a 0.26 u-factor in a Fortis window compared to a 0.25 okna500 will mean basically nothing. What are you going to save over the course of an entire year? Maybe 5 dollars?

Thanks for the replies. I'm in Minnesota. Well I went and looked at Home Depot and Lowe's and didn't like anything they had. I've ruled out the essentials. I re-read an earlier post that you guys said the same thing for someone else and those are truly universally disliked. So what are some similar level windows to the Sunrise Restorations available in MN? It seems prudent to get another quote before I go with the Restorations.

I must be the first one to say that I hate my Okna windows. They put them in a double wide mobile home. They are double hung and they are heavy. When I go to pull down the top and tilt it in, they always go crooked no matter how careful I am and they jump the track and I can't get them back in. One, something busted that had to be fixed trying to get it back in. I don't know how many times I had to call the window company to come and put them back in. We got these to be easier to clean so my husband who is 74, wouldn't have to get on a ladder to clean the outside. It isn't worth it, so now they will be cleaned again from the outside and I guess I will be the one to get on the ladder as he has a lot of health problems. I paid over $13,000 for these to have it easier, not harder. One thing is that the strings on the sides seem too thin for the heavy windows. I had a contractor here and told him about it and he looked and said it is ridiculous. Thought It was me being a woman, even though I followed the instuctions from the company, but it started to go crooked for him too. Never again!
