Pls Advise: How 2 Revive Morning Glory Bit by Frost and/or Gopher
Comments (4)I just checked again after watering this morning, and sure enough there is a gopher in the basket, because he closed up the hole with dirt. so I guess, I should dig the whole thing out? Maybe I will bring my cats to see, in case I pull out a gopher? Hopefully they will learn to hunt them better than they do. I try to teach them that birds are friends but gophers are good for hunting, being our rivals in the garden....See MoreI have a MAD (and constipated) cat...
Comments (9)She was shooting me daggers while at the vet- even the dogs waiting to be seen were afraid of her, LOL. She just curled up in my lap and is purring at the minute. She has taken her laxative- a hairball medication but I still have to give her the antacid- that one take a syringe and has to be given twice a day. 6:00 tomorrow morning should be "fun". Every time Elmo gets near her, his gets a whiff of the vet and hisses and growls at her. Poor Stewie just tried to eat while she was eating and she swatted the heck out of him- guess she thought it was Elmo. Her being constipated explains why she has been smelling "poopy" the past week or two- I just figured she was gassy or something. Never had a constipated cat before but Stewie farts every time you pick him up, LOL....See MoreExisting cat and new kitten--and 2 different foods
Comments (2)If Maggie is wanting Coco's food, then I'd be inclined to let her eat the same thing he's eating. I just looked up the ingredients of the Culinary Creations and they look good, unlike a lot of the SD dog food I've seen. Some animals may react to the wheat flour and gluten that's in the cat food, but if your animals have been healthy on it then I see no reason not to feed what works for you and the cats. After trying nearly every brand of cat food, my cat eats only Fancy Feast. I know it's not the best food out there but it's what keeps our household happy!...See MoreCats opening doors - help!
Comments (8)lfnyc, I guess having to move a dumbbell every time I want to enter the room is one way to get some exercise! irishdancersgram, I'm glad my cats don't open drawers (I say, naively. Who's that giggling in the other room?) Hook and eye might be the answer. My immediate reaction was, they'll still open the door and the hook and eye, still closed, will be found on the floor, along with those plastic things you need to install them in a hollow door. But, if it worked for susanjn's DH's closet, it's certainly worth a try. And, I could put a set on the inside, too, to close when I'm in the room. Thanks again!
