Help with weird space in bedroom
Comments (23)What if you were to enclose the area into another closet (as said prior the vent is an easy fix). I'm big on keeping like items together. You could have the current season of clothing in the main area and your other up above. You would then have all your clothes in your room. FYI as long as you're redoing the area, you may want to consider having almost everything (not socks & undergarments) hung up. It's much, much, much (did I say much?) easier to get at your clothes if they are all hung up. If you've been to a store (like Costco etc.) looking for your right size only to have to dishevel the entire table looking for one, you get my picture. It may not be quite as hard in a dresser but it's still not like the ease of being able to see all your clothes on easy access display....See MoreThe weird shape of the bedroom is making it hard to design! Comments (4)What a lovely big room. I'd put your bed facing the window if that's what you want. I would also create a small sitting area since you have so much space and add some colour by creating a feature wall with either wall paper or paint. If you use the wall that the bed is against you can afford a more expensive wallpaper as it's not a lot of space to cover. Accents such as lamps, carpets, cushions and window coverings will all bring the look and colour scheme together. Have fun decorating!...See MoreWeird Master Bedroom Project for Mom - Please Help!
Comments (7)Adding French Toile bedding would also finish the look.: https://www.jcpenney.com/p/toile-garden-quilt/1b0ed37?pTmplType=regular&country=US&currency=USD&selectedSKUId=72163010026&selectedLotId=7216301&fromBag=true&utm_medium=cse&utm_source=bingshopping&utm_campaign=quilts&utm_content=72163010026&cid=cse|bing|004%20%2d%20home%20furn%20leisure|quilts_72163010026&kwid=bingproductads-adid^78546417191974-device^c-plaid^4582145990574511-sku^72163010026@ADL10BMC-adType^PLA...See MoreBedroom with weird foundation protruding
Comments (3)Book shelves above it. Maybe two sets of book shelves with a mirror between, using the ledge as a dresser top with lamps, a plant or something decorative. Or put a couch in front of it with lamps on it (like a console table). Looks too deep for the head of your bed but if you cover it with wood, you should be able to make it look nice....See Morearcy_gw
