LVP flooring help

I have been looking for months for the right vinyl plank flooring for my home. The color is one issue, however I have been reading such mixed reviews for so many different companies like CoreTec,, Mannington, etc. Does anybody have any vinyl plank flooring that they have that had installed for a long time and are very happy with it? Could you please give me names of manufacturers, descriptions etc. Thank you so much!

I would suggest Supercore. I have not installed it but I have lots of samples and will be eventually using it in one of my rooms. There is a huge thread here on HOUZZ where you can read all about it and see pictures.

Not for a long time, but we have had Supercore Asheville Extreme installed for about 6 weeks. Really like the look, and the "not too rough" finish. It has a micro bevel - helps with installation, barely noticeable afterwards. Loved the 5G locking system. We've scrubbed or mopped it 3 or 4 times already. No spots, no streaks, easy to clean.

Weshipfloors.com just posted on the long thread that they are waiting shipment on 20 of their colors soon to arrive in the 8mm, 5G, extra long lengths.

I shopped for months! My favorite color was Karndean's Rustic Maple, but it was double the price for half the quality.

Hello all...remodeling our kitchen in the SF Bay area. We've lived in our home for 24 years and plan to stay put (hopefully) for the next 20 years and looking for a timeless traditional/transitional style that is functional. I do like the look of hardwood floors which we currently have but we've had unfortunate experiences of dishwasher and washer flooding and ruining the hardwood floors. For this reason, DH does not want wood floors again. I've been doing research on floors and now leaning toward the LVP. I've read through this thread and others and it's overwhelming. This thread was current in the last year and wondering if those who reported positive experiences with LVP are still happy with their choice. Thanks in advance for your wisdom.

It looks like about 7 planks were damaged. Your best bet is replacing those planks. Hopefully you bought extra or can get more

We used a Supercore product. Couldn't be happier! I think they have brought in new colors. Ours was from the Xtreme line with the 5G lock. Website here: weshipfloors.com

In the first photo, the rear of the room looks like it uses several short pieces instead of longer ones. In the photo with the island and stove there appears to be a narrow “square” stripe pattern right in front of the stove - this is also identifiable in the other photos in front of the windows. I’m sorry, I should have marked up the photos to point out what I am seeing but wanted to get another persons unbiased eye to see them.

I am in the same position. I thought I had finally settled on CoreTec, but the mixed reviews have restarted my search. Thank you for your post.
