July 14th Pictures.....loaded
Comments (15)Yea ... you finally got your nasturtium blooms! Your tomatoes are progressing nicely. I am VERY jealous of your gourds though ;) My cucuzzi plant doesn't seem to even to thinking about producing yet. That first dark hollyhock looks like the ones I have in the backyard. Unfortunately, I've had a Japanese beetle attack so I'm gonna need to cut them all back, along with the rose bush. Thankfully, they didn't mess with much else. Love the echinacea too. I will have to wait until next year to see blooms on mine....See MorePictures not loading
Comments (3)Not sure what you mean about "changes in the gallery side" Do you mean here on the forum or in Photobucket. I don't have any new painted items to post a picture of, but I did find this neat acorn plate (I love acorn things) so I will post it. I just copied the HTML from under the picture on Photobucket and now I'm pasting it here. Luvs...See MoreHelp! Need Pictures of loaded Dishdrawers
Comments (4)marciab10, I love our f&p dishdrawers. I had never considered them because I thought they were gimicky when I saw them in the stores. And then I read a thread in the Appliance Forum which totally changed my view--they suddenly became the sensible choice. After 3 1/2 years, I can't imagine being without them. They do take a while to learn how to load. Bowls don't fit easily--especially bowls with vertical sides. My old dishwasher didn't fit our dinner plates so we got used to using the smaller salad plates instead and that habit stayed with us. If I have the larger plates, I usually place them in the back right corner and flip up the upper shelf. I tend to have the entire left side full of glasses but didn't happen to have as many as usual this time around. If I have a baking pan, such as a 9x13 pyrex or the next size up I put it where the glasses usually go and leave the shelves flipped up. Then I load the glasses wherever they'll fit. If I have large shallow bowls or colanders I'll usually lay them on top of the other dishes if they fit without rubbing the top when closing. Good luck with your decision. There are negatives with these dishwashers (they are a bit noisier than the super quiet ones) but I feel that the positives blow all the negatives to bits. Perhaps models newer than ours have made some changes? Currently we are a family of 3 but are 4 when my daughter is home from school (fairly often.) I think the dd's make a lot of sense for families of any size since one of the best features is that one drawer can be loaded up and run as soon as it's full while the other drawer is still available for dirty dishes. Some people who don't need to run them often will just leave clean dishes in one of the drawers and use them from there. I interrupted the cycle for this drawer so I didn't bother taking items off the left shelf to flip it up. The glasses are below it....See MoreTried twice to post, Houzz gets stuck
Comments (4)Add them in comments. Many folks are having a difficult time getting photos to post in the initial post, and AFAIK Houzz hasn’t really worked to hard to try to fix it. Send them a complaint: https://help.houzz.com/s/app-support?language=en_US How I got there was Houzz support at the bottom of every page > submit a request in the upper right corner of the support page. If enough folks complain, they might actually fix it, but I am not holding my breath since it has been happening for more than a month. Their default advice is try a different browser and contact your ISP since it couldn’t possibly be a Houzz problem....See MoreBen D (zone 7b)
