wetroom refurbishment

nosch design

We are about to refurbish an 18-year-old wetroom as one of the floor tiles has cracked. In order to do so, we were thinking about taking off the bottom row of the wall tiles, tank and retile the floor and fix the wall tiles back in place.

The difficulty is that the room has a curved wall on one end, which is where the shower is. Usually, we would tape the bottom corner before using a tanking solution but the tape does not go along the inside radius without being cut or folded which is not good from a waterproofing point of view.

Does anyone have some experience with curved wetroom walls?

Any ideas and suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks.
