I think shrubs should be cut back or replaced with shorter plantings so that the front of the house is visible. Then consider reworking the porch. The decorative piece in the center of the gable looks distracting to me. Is there a walkway to the entry?

Thank you. There is a walkway on the left side of the porch. I would like to close that and add a walkway in the front. I like the idea of adding stone columns too.
