I ahve no idea why you would want to devalue your home by painting the brick.Since you are going white for trim do the railings white too and then add a pop of color for the front door to make the entry nice. Add some great colorful landscaping along the walk and in front of the porch. I would choose a pale sage green for the siding sort of like this but maybe even a bit l;ighter

The brick is making your facade recede. I might have said white with contrast trim, but I suspect the windows are not wood, so it would probably be best to keep the trim white. I would find a pastel that lightens and brightens. I would lean into the blue family. Maybe a chalky spa blue or sky. If you want something more saturated, consider French blue. Sage greens will be great too. Stay away from anything in red/orange/browns.

PS, that color you like is really nice, but awfully dark. Is there a place you can use it as an accent instead?

The brick is beautiful!! I would not touch it. Certainly not paint it. Limewash if you must... I’d paint the siding a fresh white.
If that’s too boring than do the green...

I wouldn't paint the brick either; instead I would add a bit more trim/brick mold around the windows and doors to give them a more finished look and help them compete with the heavy porch overhang. I think Naragansett Green is a good choice (on my monitor, at least) and would use that on all of the siding, porch, and trim - but maybe pick a bit of a stronger color for the door (a more blue gray-blue perhaps) so it stands out.

Don’t paint the brick- it’s become so trendy that it’s bordering on unimaginative. Brick is classic and maintenance free. The green suggestion above is lovely. Black also looks fantastic with red brick and creamy ivory. Classic. Just because something is “in” or popular or trendy doesn’t mean it’s a good idea or makes sense. Watch less HGTV and more This Old House.

I also, agree, please do not pant the brick. Just paint the rest of the house where there is no brick. I also like white for the railings and the trim. While, I do like the green you picked, I think it just may be too dark, for your house.

I agree with the others who said not to paint the brick. I would also go with the white trim including the porch ceiling. I think that would bring out the house. Then I would choose a bright colored door.

you don't plan on painting the brick in the green color, do you?? if that's the case, I say NO.

Paint the brick (Romabio) white, white trim, and pick a diff color for the siding. Do not use regular paint on the brick. You must use a specialty product that allows it to breathe.

If you use the right product, you'll neither 'devalue' or cause yourself maintenance nightmares. Besides, the brick is covered so you'll basically have no upkeep.

Use Romabio. If you want a limewash, use Classico. (and you have 72 hrs to decide or else you can wash it away)

more of an opaque covering, use the Masonry Flat.

Will you be pruning the large shrubs in front? What is your overall look you're trying to achieve?

However, if you wanted to, you could keep the brick and do a board and batten siding over it, no? Is that something that's possible?

Both of these show board and batten on the porch area. and btw, whatever you choose, copy any of these pics to decorate your porch and deck area. notice in the 2nd pic, they painted the porch ceiling a "Haint Blue" paint color. I love this look

Oh look here, painted brick! The rest of these pics all have white brick front porch areas. Some of them you'll see they removed the bannister. it's a nice look.
