Here is a better pict. I kind of like the idea that it produces big, fat berries. If you keep it pruned and give it everything else it likes, why not?

You bring a sense of humor to this poc tree discussion. I do wonder why nurseries continue to sell them if they are so AWFUL! RE: pruning. I have no intentions of this getting beyond 10 feet. Pruners are always nearby and are sharp. If I ruin it in the process of stunting it, so be it. Then I will just chop it to the ground. Thanks.
