Comments (18)I was still in Ireland without my machine or any hand work but I did find the largest quilt shop in Ireland!!! It was so great to take a little getaway for myself and just meander among the fabrics. The owner, Maeve was just divine and we chatted away for a few hours as I floated around the shop. Most of the fabric was American so much of it I have or had seen already. What was fabulous was finding a few older American fabrics that are sold out everywhere on the internet but I was able to find among the hidden treasures of her shelves!!! I did pay dearly since the dollar isn't so great and they are imported fabrics over there. Some of them were $18-19 a yard!!! It was worth it for the unobtainable ones!!! I did find some domestic fabric in pink and purples (purples are my favs) that was very loud on the bolt but looked pretty in the pinwheel quilt she had hanging up so I took home a kit!! After 2 cups of tea, and wonderful conversation I left with my treasures, along with a great little reusable tote with her logo and shop info on it. I only wish I would have taken my camera with me. Comments (17)Sandra, looking forward to seeing a pic. Sue, I Skyped with DD with morning and she seems to be enjoying the warmer temps.:) Ritaweeda, sounds like we have the same experience. It took forever to get rid of everything we moved to the new house that I didn't want anymore....I guess it is an ongoing activity really. I still feel like my house is "new" after nine years and am still putting things up on the walls. Like you, I like a sparser wall. Off to do some yard work on this lovely weekend, Bible study tonight. I definitely want to get to the sewing room and finish the top for DD's depression block quilt. Then it would be fun to see if I could pull enough fabric for the falling charms throw for the family room.....or sew together the quickie wall hanging from another Lotto winning....or maybe do both. (Obviously I've had too much coffee...shouldn't have made the second pot. Comments (394)Sharing my experience to keep the hope alive for those checking this thread as I did— I ordered a 36" dual fuel w/griddle on Jan 28, 2022, and was given an estimated ETA of November 2022. November passed and I was given a date of December 7th, which of course was not met. I could not get a new date from my unreliable sales rep. With one full year passing after I placed my order, I continued to pester him every week showing my frustration. However, I couldn't get a new date from him much less any answers. I decided to contact Wolf in February and talked to a product specialist who actually had some answers for me (i.e., the delay with the dual fuel models was due to a specific part not passing QA from a supplier and causing a long backup). She then put me in touch with the distributor. The distributor was able to give me my ETA, which was May, but then was able to push it up to March 7th. They could've made up the May date entirely to set my expectations really low, but nonetheless, I was happy to get a solid date in March. Fast forward, it was installed today and as others have said on this thread, it was worth the wait....See Moregrammyp
