14 years later…

I bought this Red Dragon in May, 2007. It was first planted in a bed and then moved to a pot later that fall when it seemed to be struggling. I ended up moving the pot down to our kennel and there it stayed until this past October. We sold that place and moved everything up to the mountains. This Red Dragon never thrived, never died, just kind of hung on. I had almost forgotten about it and just put It in the moving truck as a last minute thing.

So apparently it likes living in the mountains. It has doubled in size this spring and I may actually have to split it up for next year. it gets similar light exposure here, so maybe it just likes that slight temperature difference from Atlanta metro to here. It seems to be 2 different plants at this stage. The bigger portion is what has always been there, the smaller bit is brand new this spring.
