I like SW Urbane Bronze but you could also go to a bright lime green too on this style home. Definitely not white.

Here are two mock ups. You have done a great job on your home. I think repeating the exact black of your window trim might be best choice. That allows the eye to take a wide view and not focus on accent color of door and sidelight. Eliminate any beige or white trim around door and sidelight.

I would replace front exterior light with something long and repeating vertical shape of side window. I couldn’t size the one in the mock up right. Do a smaller version. That just gives you concept.

We just put the side light in with ribbed glass. That has to stay. I didn't know about the Urbane Bronze color. Do you know if that will work on the vinyl window trims? Also, we just put in the satin nickel door lock set so that stays also, thinking it would look good with black (and my husband didn't want a black door handle). Would the bronze color and satin nickel go well next to each other on the door? What if we did the door in the same color as the garage door? A bit greyer green than the house color.

Thank you. ; ) I just saw this mock up.It looks like there is a white/beige trim in between the side light and door and around the outside trim. You said eliminate that color. It is a pretty wide post between the two - like 5 inches. Should it all be painted the dark color?

I agree, the urbane bronze color on the trim and door will look great with the existing window trims. Are you asking about the vinyl window is vinyl?

Do the trim to match the windows. The door and the sidelight in an aqua or turquoise. Could go bright yellow or orange, if you like those colors better.

Yes I think the post between the door and sidelite and the door and all trim around the door and sidelite should be painted to match the trim on the windows, and Sherwin Williams Urbane Bronze mentor we above is a good color to look at. The nickel will still show up nicely on this color, don’t be thrown by “bronze” in the name.

I would match door and trim to windows. Try SW Tricorn Black. Your door handle is fine. Your ribbed glass is fine. While I have used Urbane Bronze for years on exterior trims, with your dark black? Windows I am afraid it might look like a mismatch. I would paint the wide trim black too. The fewer the distractions the better. White draws the eye first so you don’t want that. I just couldn’t do that fine a look with my mock up tool.

Deb. Any of these would work. Just personal preference. Just paint all trim and door same color for most cohesive look. 😉
