Comments (10)LOL at the "big behind up in the air" in the garden! That's were mine can be found!! I've never had an easy time kneeling, but since my knee surgery a couple of years ago, I can't kneel at all anymore. My surgery was for a torn medial meniscus, a torn lateral meniscus and severe arthritis damage under my kneecap. I was sent for physical therapy, where they made me do things they never should have had me do so soon after such extensive surgery, and it really messed me up! When they sent me the bill, I refused to pay it and told them they were lucky I didn't sue them! That was the last I heard from them! LOL I can't sit and bend to work either, because both hips are bad, so my behind can often be seen sticking out of the garden! Maybe I should paint a big flower on the seat of my jeans! Comments (10)Thank you for your prayers and good thoughts. I have read them throughout the day. You all have kept me company. We left for the hospital at 10:00 am and just got home at about 10:30 pm. No more procedures tonight, the pressure was a good "15" and she was able to see 2 fingers on the doctor's hand tonight. I have her home at my apartment tonight - all patched up. It's difficult for her being virtually blind and not being able to walk well anyway with her NPH. But she is in bed in the room next door and I'm hearing a comforting snoring! We go for post-op tomorrow with the doctor. He'll check the pressure again I'm sure and we'll see what our next steps are. I have the paperwork for FMLA leave from work that I'll have him sign. He has never written an Rx for home health care so I don't know if that'll fly. Talked to my brother tonight about FMLA leave and he thinks if I take 2-4 weeks off from work that Mom's savings could "reimburse" me my net pay. I was shocked that he offered but had actually thought of this option myself. Well, I'm off for some sleep. Gotta keep one ear open for her. Thank you again for everything. Comments (14)Wishing both of you a quick recovery and if nothing else, this may force you both to take time to smell the ......daylilies. It is often true that there is so much to do that we don't really take the time to enjoy the fruits of our labours ( canadian spelling ) . I am sure that within a short time you will both be back on your feet ! I will be thinking of both of you!...See More
