Help with kitchen colors!

I’m having such a hard time finalizing my color decisions. I am going for a slightly unfitted kitchen look a la deVol kitchens. The floors will be hardwood. There are 2 other elements that can’t be changed - 1) my stove - a restored Chambers stove in pastel green and copper (at the restorer now - pic is not my stove but mine is exactly like it). 2) the island - I wanted more of a work table with maybe just one stool for occasional seating. Found the table at an antique store and it’s already waiting patiently in the garage.

If I could have all my favorites I would do Zia Tile in Absinthe (pictured below with a door from my stove), putty colored cabinets, and soapstone countertops. It feels like too much color and too busy. Too many competing elements.

So what do you think? Will it work? Or should I make the countertops and or backsplash white? Help!
