Need help in mouldings paint transition - Urgent!
Comments (5)Well, the good thing is that there will be no transition issue on the 2nd floor (main living area) - since the mouldings are this 'tan' color, and I love the combination. This is why I decided to do the 1st floor the same, to keep the look of the foyer and main living area the same. I am convinced to paint the stringers tan as well. I will report on how it will look. Tomorrow will have to talk to my contractor about repainting - see how much he will ask (sigh). The good thing though is this is the first (!) time ever I am redoing something at extra-charge. My whole house - 3 floors - was remodelled with literally no mistakes, so I guess this is the one that I will have to pay extra for. But I am happy that I will have what I like!...See MoreURGENT - Need Help for Selecting Paint Color for My First Floor Condo
Comments (7)I would make sample boards of colors you like that you can move around in your space and your light. Trade winds might look really blue in your space. Consider going neutral with more color in smaller space like powder room?...See MoreHurricane Michael Repairs - Need Urgent Exterior Color & Shingles Help
Comments (6)Thanks catlady999! Peaking the flat roof would be ideal and I love tin roofs. Those were my first thoughts too so I got some estimates form a local contractors and it will cost an extra $30K on top of what insurance will pay for the roof. We have about $30K to put towards improvements in total (in addition to insurance work) and upgrading the small 1950s kitchen is a must so unfortunately the roof lines will have to stay as is. Great idea though :)...See MoreExterior paint colour advice urgently needed
Comments (2)I googled your paint color and two additional colors were on the same page. Any of these would look nice on your place; it's just a matter of how dark you want to go....See MoreSK B
