Nice not having to go to a laundromat and nothing like drying laundry outdoors to have it smelling lovely and fresh.

I love line dried sheets and towels! I have a retractable line on the back porch.

I would like to dry my comforter outside,because my dryer,while large, never does a good job at drying my bedding. Alas, the pollen. The bugs. I would just have to rewash it.

Nice that it fits, Rose. You never know what might've been in a laundromat dryer before you showed up.

And haha amylou - don't forget birds. For some reason, they occasionally like to perch on our clothesline and leave their calling cards on my clean laundry.

That's so nice, Rose. My washer handles really bulky items just fine. I still worry a little since a repair tech once warned me the newer washers aren't really made to handle bulky items well, even though most have a "Bulky" or similar cycle. He said it will really wear on the machines over time since their quality is much lower. No problem with our dryer doing a great job, but line drying would sometimes be nice...sans bird poop!

I want to take my cotton and nylon bath rugs to a laundromat. When wet, they are too heavy for my small front-load washer to spin dry. I'll bring them home to dry on the screened porch.

I am with amylou except it is dust that is kicked up on the highway that is about 1/4 mile?? away.

I truly am still a little cautious after having our previous washer last only 4 years. I was just so darned angry. Took me forever to choose a new one.
