I am not a interior designer but i would do a soft cream color or ivory. I don't like dark colored walls in the kitchen. If you have Saint Cecilia Light, you may also be able to use a light grey paint. Hope it turns out beautiful. Keep us updated.

make sure your bulbs are a cooler temp. (3500K - 4000K) Otherwise you'll get the yellow hue on every color you try. I think your granite/tile and vanity are just too overwhelming to do any color except a neutral. I'd let the shower curtain take care of being the accent color. Perhaps try and do a picture over the toilet w/some greens, but keep the wall a light neutral. Dorian Gray is in the lavender column, you want something warmer. Try Pale Oak and White Dove for the trim or, these are warmer grays that lean a little taupe and a very creamy white if you want to go lighter on the walls. try doing something like this over the toilet using the darker brown shelving (to match the vanity. or even glass shelving) w/some artwork or accessories

I think it would be quite striking and dramatic, and would look great. Are the dark cupboards only in the adjacent space? I think the navy will be fine with them. Would you consider adding an area rug? It would help bring in one more layer of interest, and provide a bit of a "break" from the darkness, should you choose a rug with a bit of light play throughout the design.
