Comments (6)That is an attractive house. I like painted brick and there's a lot of it in my neighborhood. "Off-white" is a lot of range, though--some off-whites are grayish and others are creamish, for example. I like creamy better than cooler tones, but that's me. Some pretty painted brick houses in my neighborhood are: warm gray with white trim and charcoal shutters cream with sage/taupe-y trim and shutters sage green with black shutters and there's also an electric periwinkle blue with white trim and black shutters, but that's a controversial choice among my neighbors... I wanted a black garage door and the garage door guy said that around here (Kentucky) a black door won't stand up to the heat, as black absorbs more sunlight than other colors. So, you may want to find out if that's true where you are. Or even true at all--maybe he was wrong....See MorePlease help! Need paint color for dining room asap

Comments (3)Hi, The room is the dining room and will be more on the informal style. My furniture is vintage Haywood Wakefield in a Champagne color. I'm matching the paint color to the fabric on the chairs...the cranberry color. The woodwork will be semi-gloss white and the ceiling, after changing my mind again, will be Navajo White. It's a lighter shade of brown than the Irish Cream. However, I'm off to the paint store after this posting. I may change my mind again....the painter will be finishing up the prep work today so I have a little time left. Hopefully, I'll be able to post some pics. Thanks.......See MoreNeed help ASAP. Please help with the wall color that go with the floor
Comments (7)You need to make that decision in your room with your light. What we see on our computer monitors may not look anything like what you see in real life. In fact the floor looks like a different color in your two photos, which should prove to you that it's impossible for anyone to pick the color for you long-distance on a website. What you could do is paint the walls the same white color as the trim. Also, are you painting before you install the new floor? Painting should come last....See MorePatricia Colwell Consulting
