At your favorite paint store you should find an exterior color card. Not the small chips but a brochure sized card that shows exterior color schemes. Look for the 3 or 4 color scheme that has green for the shutters and a deep beige/taupe/clay color for the siding. Your roof is the "shutters" part of the scheme. Good luck!

Mtnrdredux.. Not sure if you saw post on your other thread.. I took a photo of our MB with Theresa's Green and pale powder. The tricky thing with Theresa's green was the undercoat recommended by FnB - they recommend the dark undercoat which was really dark. I even called their Toronto office and talked to the main paint guy here who convinced me to give it a try.. It really seems to add a dimension to how the color feels.. Kind of like a darker petticoat under a silk gown. Every day, I catch myself looking at the color because it is such a changeling. Our bedroom faces east and I also have a couple of skylights on the ceiling. The dark wood is panel on the wall. Theresa's green is on the wall to the right. The ceiling and the wall to the left are pale powder.

I whole heartedly agree with the dopamine hit when I am surrounded by my favorite colors. Not surprisingly, my favorite color is green, and it is the wall color in my bedroom (the room leading into the primary bathroom). The walls of my bedroom are BM Avon Green, which is quite dark and I love it every single time I go in there. While I would love to paint the bathroom walls green as well, I think it might be overkill, especially if it's a different tone altogether. I would love to do wallpaper but the choices are ENDLESS and I'm worried it will feel overwhelming to the eye. 2. I agree that Grand Millennial style is not very modern and I'm not describing this very well. If I had the time to research and money to spend, I'd go this route. The feel of my house is a bit more of a moody modern in style - I'm not sure what to call it. Maybe modern farmhouse? Our floors are natural white oak. Our kitchen cabinets are navy with black handles, to give some context (a bandaid fix for some 90's era yellowing oak cabinets from the prior owners). 3. I've read a ton of articles on mixing metals and i've looked at many pictures of mixing metals in bathrooms specifically, and I'm not sure I agree that you can't do it in a small space. The bathroom is gutted right now so I have no photos to show of what is actually in there. I did post photos of the vanity and fixtures in my original post.
