I just wanted to add, Psychopis loves AG. I know someone had posted about potting mixes for this plant, I'm not sure if it was you. I have have the best results with straight AG with my Psychopsis. I think most people grow these too damp, same with most of the Oncidiums. They really do better drying out. I hate recommending AG because its expensive. I'm sure there is a way to duplicate it but I don't have the time or enough plants to bother. Its easier to buy a bag and stretch it with some bark or sphag. Jane

We have a single 27" Elux wave-touch, non-Icon, electric wall oven. We've used it a lot in the year since it was installed. We do NOT use the self-clean, in part because of the many warnings that it could cause failure. We had this message reinforced by a service technician who came to check on it. We thought it wasn't heating as evenly as it should. He told us we needed to pre-heat for longer than I was allowing. But he said that the self-clean cycle was too hot for the electronic panels behind the oven which aren't adequately vented. So we risked having these fail if we used the clean cycle. Some people say they have used self-clean without a problem. I want this oven to last a long time, so we clean it manually with elbow grease and Barkeeper's Friend. BTW the technician told us that the oven needs to pre-heat longer than it seems. You hear the beep that it has reached the set temperature, but the oven will cycle on and off for several minutes until the temperature stabilizes. For our oven, that means pre-heating for about 20 minutes. At that point anything that you bake or roast will cook evenly. We accept these limitations, but you may not. Other than this, the oven is just perfect. I couldn't be happier. Cheryl

Mona, I had shingles last year a couple of inches below one of my breast. I thought it was a heat rash but then I got those sore blisters, then the line formed towards my back. My doctor blew it off and told me to keep Gold Bond Powder on it which I did. I have one patch that's about the size of a quarter which is permanently scarred now. Not that I'll ever wear a two piece swimsuit! lol BUT!! From all the research I've done on it, apparently the pain in the nerves (not the blisters) can begin WEEKS after contacting shingles & AFTER the skin heals. Mine was mild, so I never experienced pain except for the blisters themselves. Just telling ya, when you heal there could still be a good chance you'll get pain since it sounds like you got them pretty bad. I also learned stress plays a huge factor which also means our immune system is low. And don't babysit your grandson (isn't that who you watch sometimes?) unless he's had chicken pox. I couldn't be around my grandkids for a month and it killed me! I sure hope you heal soon, I've read that having them around the eye area is the pits!
