idk how yours all fits together, but the lighter version of U.B. is Worldly Gray, and used with Whirlpool Blue.

Can you take a photo of the entire kitchen from family room?

Do you like use of wood - no wood anywhere in den. I can't see the island, but would you like that as blue accent, to liven view from dining area too.

I will take pic in am, I love wood accents. No sure about blue around island with granite color. The current color in den is a moss green by Martha Stewart and kitchen is a coordinating taupe. I forget the color names

oh, den is painted light green didn't know. So with light upholstery and even lighter paint on the walls, there will be little contrast... is that where you mean to place blue accents ?

Yes, using blues in pictures, pillows, accent pieces. I have way too much green in the room and am looking for a fresh look. I’m replacing the glass top table with wood once I decide on flooring. I was going to use luxury vinyl plank in the den. My plan is to bring white walls throughout the house with blues in fabric for dining room and living room as well. I will look at the whites you suggested, alabaster white was not set in stone. What color would you suggest for walls if I change to shoji white? And btw you are so helpful. I’ve had such a hard time making decisions.

I don’t think the cabinets need repainting. I’d prefer to see one continual floor from the kitchen through the living room instead of painting. The cabinets are nice! Do you have an inspiration pic of the colors you chose out?

The cabinet stain is chipped all along the bottom. They need repainting and the stain couldn’t be matched.

You have some art...good. The granite counter is nice. But....find a place to add a multi-toned fabric to bring in some more interesting color. I suggest simple stationary drapery panels to frame the windows... maybe a few (3) pillows fir the sofa in the same fabric. Look for a fabric with darker shades of the colors on the print-fabric sofas. Take one of the print-fabric back pillows (or just the cover) to a fabric store and look for a complementary fabric. Many fabric stores have people who make to-order window treatments or slip-covers or pillow covers if you don’t sew. Maybe you can add new lamp shades in a darker tone. Add a low-pile colorful area rug under your glass-top dining table: 4’-5’ wider and 4’-5’ longer than the table top should give you enough rug for the chairs to stay on the rug when occupied. You could recover the dining chair seats, too.

I like the idea of SW Alabaster with white trim everywhere. I just painted our house Alabaster throughout and we love it. Neutrals and woods are great with it and it transformed this house. We are leasing so I couldn’t do much with oak kitchen but the Alabaster is beautiful. Slight warm feeling but not yellow! I am using blue accents. Here are a couple in progress photos. The first two pics are “before”. The second two after. The floor is LVP throughout except for kitchen, breakfast and bathrooms which are tile. I think this would be great for your home. I think I would consider a faux stone for front of your kitchen peninsula.
