I would love some help with some plant ID's
Comments (6)If it is the white flowered GL, beware...it is the most invasive plant I have ever dealt with! Be careful. I can grow the purple and the yellow with no big problems, but the white took over a 4 x 10 bed in one summer and I hacked at it daily till every tiny piece was dug up and gone! Comments (22)I agree -- fairly simple backsplash will let your beautiful granite take center stage. I think the glass ones you are leaning toward would look great, depending on how the actual colors look next to your granite (computer monitors can be notoriously inaccurate). Greens & beiges can be kind of difficult at times. If you want a design over the range, you could do a "center of interest" by framing an area with the long narrow tiles, and fill in the space with the smaller ones, 2x2s or 1x1s. I think that would look great & that you don't need anything more....See MoreHelp! I would love some input on engineered hardwood floors.
Comments (1)What type of radiant heat do you have? You need to choose the floor that ALLOWES for your type of in-floor radiant heat. Don't listen to the company that makes the heating system. They are not the final word. The company that manufacturers your floors will be the one's who say how and why and why not to use their floors. Do you have whole home humidity control (either a whole home dehumidifier or a whole home humidifier or both)? If you do not, you may want to do that FIRST. Wide plank wood needs consistent humidity. That means a pin-point accurate range between 40%-60% (I prefer to see a range like 45%-55%). You should never have swings wider than 10%. And it is up to the flooring manufacturer to list their requirements. Some prefer to see 35-55%. Other prefer 45-65%. Again you must follow the FLOORING manufacturer. In-floor radiant heat can be drying. The closer the wood is to the heat source the drier the wood becomes...and then we get weird/nasty things happening which are completely outside of warranty....See MoreI would love some opinions and ideas for a vanity mirror please!
Comments (9)Could you get the Stockholm or Target mirror in black? I think the large black framed mirror will clash with the sink and the simplicity of the subway tile. It's looking great so far!...See MoreCourtney Croxton
