The plan is difficult to read, especially the measurements - you may need to write measurements in by hand to make them legible. Do I understand correctly that there are two "front" entrances right now, one near the stairs and one in the kitchen, as well as two back doors (one from the living room and one from the study or whatever that smaller room is?

Anyway, without measurements it is difficult to tell what you may be able to do with the kitchen. At first glance I would say that moving the powder room into that other room below the kitchen (a walk-in pantry?) would improve the flow as long as you can remove the bathroom entirely to open the space between kitchen and dining area a bit. Not sure I would want to remove the wall between kitchen and living because it might make appliance location difficult (and I'm not a fan of open concept), but if you close off that entrance into the kitchen you may gain enough wall space to make it work.

You have a good amount of space to work with! I added some of your measurements in inches to make it a little easier for the Americans here to help. Here's an idea that might work - you can keep as much or as little of the wall between kitchen and living as you would like:

Do you need an entry closet? You could configure one to block the view of the powder room from the dining room. The back door in the kitchen will be closed? A dish hutch could go there, or a tall pantry, or a tall, shallow pantry could go in the other corner where you have the single seat. Is that a low window on the back wall? Is there an existing window over the sink?

The entry closet could also be turned to face the stairs--whichever orientation works better. No advice for moving a FP.

Ι was thinking of putting a closet under the stairs and my washing machine. i think i want to close the door in the kitchen. i was thinking of a tall pantry. where the sink is now there is no window so i would.move it to the other wall. i think i should move the fireplace to the corner where the dining room is and having the dining room in front of the kitchen. i think it helps the flow.of the house to have your living room next to the entry . we have a big corner sofa 3 metersx 2 meters

OK, since there is no existing window, I like blondamina's kitchen layout, but I don't like the PR door opening to the DR (or LR if you flip the rooms). An entry closet would also block the view of the dishes from the entry area.

When you remove the existing LR wall, make sure the fridge door will open fully against the remaining stub wall, or plan for a narrow cabinet beside the fridge (red circle). Sorry, this is getting messy:

@katerinalits You mentioned moving the fireplace - is it portable or would you need a new chimney? Assuming it is moveable, I agree with you that it would be nice to have the dining and living rooms swapped. I tend to agree with @mama goose_gw zn6OH that it is nicer not to have the powder room door opening into the dining or living areas. If you are going to put a coat closet under the stairs (which is a great use of space), you could enlarge the current powder room to encompass both bath and laundry functions, and then keep the other small room off the kitchen for a pantry (or you could fit the laundry in that small room and have a combined laundry/pantry and a larger bathroom). Like this:

@biondanonima I would have to put in a new chimney so the fireplace has to go along an exterior wall. I never considered moving the bathroom door but @mama goose_gw is right and I could use the extra wall space and it is nicer not to have a bathroom door opening up to your living area. I was thinking of changing the window where next to the fireplace to patio doors to bring more light into the house and because we are in Greece we spend a lot of time outside from april to october.
