Paint Design Dilemma Exterior

1985 house HELP I need suggestions on exterior paint colors

The windows are not getting replaced. I need paint color suggestions as I'm finding it very difficult to choose something that goes with dark brown on windows/garage door. Deck will have to have a new color of paint/stain too. Lots of huge board & batten walls on this different styled house of ours! LOL & I'm having a terrible time with color....

It's a great house. These 'shed' houses look best to me monochromatic- I would paint everything (except the stone) Sherwin Williams Black Fox or Urbane Bronze. When you can afford it the deck handrails could use updating ( I would replace some sections with stadium stairs and others with glass). Otherwise punch up the landscaping a bit and you are good to go. The pine next to the house is so pretty, I don't love the cedar between the garage and the entrance, it looks like it is in the way?

Thank you for you feedback! Great ideas & I will look at those colors as I have the Sherwin Williams paint brochure.

The flat trim board under your windows will cause leaks if it was not flashed properly or if the sill nosing doesn't project and overhang enough for an effective drip (in the traditional manner). Sealant/caulk at that joint is only temporary. I've seen this detail cost owners a lot of money so make sure your contractor knows what he's doing. One solution is to add a projecting PVC sill nosing in place of the flat trim. It's difficult to beat the traditional double-hung window sill design. Here is a link that might be useful: ATW

White trim & gray will work. In my opinion Repose is too light. Needs a little more saturation. Wood garage doors would add some interest. If you can't do that it would be nice to paint them the trim white. Some large, colorful planters w palm would be a nice way to add a vibrant touch.

I have removed all shrubs in the front. The front door is set back and hard to see but same stain as the shutters. And the stone is the same on both sides of the garage. I have no idea of paint colors and was wondering if i should do a trim contrast? The gutters along the house match the shutters as well.

I need to see the siding material. and BTW garage doors can be painted what trim are you talking about? A picture from further back that can be enlarged would be a big help also the front door area.
