How Do I Open Up My Family Room?

Hi there, Houzzers! Here’s my years-long predicament: My entryway opens up to a great room, which is surrounded by tons of windows except for where the fireplace is and, necessarily, the TV above it. I placed a oversized love seat facing the TV but it creates a blocked off vibe and more annoyingly this narrow passageway to access the rest of the house. There’s only 34 inches between the edge of the couch and the wall. (See photos) I can’t move the couch any closer to the TV wall. (it’s honestly too close as it is, our necks crank up when watching TV) What would you do to open up this room and provide for a more open and clear passageway while also having a setup that allows you to comfortably watch TV? It seems an opposing couch/chairs combo is the best answer for opening it up but not great for TV watching. We’re not big tv watchers- maybe a few hours a week except during football season. Thanks for any/all advice.
