I like the suggestion of modern metal drum tables but have practical concerns. Where do you put a lamp? These tables are small. Maybe one metal drum and something else that could hold a lamp? Or should I look at floor lamps?

One idea…between the two chairs, something with a hint of the nail head sheen and a matte gray body would work. I really Ike the colors and patterns that you have in the space. It is not so easy to combine patterns the way you have done. You seem to have a natural flair for this. I had also thought of a solid ottoman in an orange, as being an interesting possibility. i like the overstock piece, also.
