Jimi Hendrix videos are hard to find, especially on YouTube, and so I had to look on vimeo.

    Carl Perkins (original version)

This American blues song was very popular with 1960s British bands

I think the first version was by Big Joe Williams (1935), followed by Muddy Waters (1953). Them made it popular in Britain in 1964.

Michele, I like Elvis Costello, thanks for that link.

I once heard a funny comment about him. Someone said:

"Most music critics like Costello a lot more than most music fans do. The only explanation for it is that Costello's nerdy, uncool appearance is similar to how most music critics look and they must like what they see."

Thanks Elmer. That’s a funny observation.

Lars, I wish I had seen your message before I posted the Zappa song.

I once attended a very small 3D photo exhibition. Zappa was in attendance. I know you both like Zappa too.

Michele, I am using a desktop computer with fiber-optic cable, and so the threads never load slowly for me, but I guess they do get slower for some people.

Anyway, here's a link to part II.
