Grout help with zellige tile please!
Comments (12)@peytonpoynter Is it true that Clé, Riad, and Zia Zellige tiles all come from the same source in Morocco? And that their white tiles are actually the same? I’m wondering how you figured that out or came to that conclusion. Thanks!...See MoreZellige tile installation
Comments (48)bevysaintpe,,,,tea ceremony is a beautiful color. I would use a light gray grout color, allowing the zellige tile to shine through. The eye really won't pick up on the gray. Look at Mapei Warm Gray. it's the perfect shade. I used it w/my shower tiles the warm gray will give you a similar look to this one. (also your color tile) here's the warm gray in the Flexcolor CQ I would not use this bright white grout color or this very large grout spacing try to get as close as you can...See MoreHas anyone used Riad zellige tile in the bathroom?
Comments (1)A tile P.R.O. does not find this extraordinarily "difficult". Yes a pro. Not a DIY, , not a guy a contractor hauls to the job from a street corner. Not a guy who is used to slamming up three dollar a sq foot subway from the local big box. Just as important? Your substrate. Level......true. and WATERPROOF. https://zellige-tiles.com/zellige-installation.php...See MoreWhat are the best Zellige-look ceramic tile for showers?
Comments (20)The tile veneer is only what you "see" and of course the craftsmanship contributes to a quality visual appearance. It is however not as important as what is UNDER the tile (especially in a wet area) that contributes to a long lasting installation. Hence the comment about the labor expense if installed by a qualified tile contractor. https://www.tile-assn.com/page/trade-professionals-consumers...See Morewdccruise
