How can I warm up My Living Room

Terri Lewis

I'm so torn between painting my paneling the same color as my trim (White Dove), leaving it the color it is (Natural Cream--maybe a touch too gray) or warming it up a bit with Ballet White, Shoji White, or maybe White Duck. I've had one designer suggest I paint it the same as the trim because mixing whites will make one look dirty, and another suggest the Natural Cream that is on it, or even Shoji with the existing trim. Room faces north, not a lot of light. I've seen rooms done in all white that are beautiful (usually in that case I prefer a more cream color like creamy

) The White Dove is pretty on trim, but will painting the rest of the paneling WD make my room look cold? I like a touch of warmth. If I were to paint it all White Dove, what could I do with the decor to bring in warmth? This paneling also goes into my kitchen and dining on bottom half of wall and cabinets are painted White Dove as well.
